What is holistic healing?

The primary cause of unhappiness is never the situation, but your thoughts about it – Eckhart Tolle I have a passionate belief that everyone can live a life of health and wellness. All we need are the tools to get us there. And some of us need a little help learning how to use these tools. I also believe you cannot truly heal unless you treat the body, mind and spirit. This is known as holistic healing.

It’s about creating balance

Your body is an incredible machine. Every day it undertakes millions of tweaks and adjustments to keep itself in balance. In medical terms, this is called homeostasis and it happens automatically. Temperature, blood pressure, pH and glucose are just a few of the systems that are closely regulated by the body to make sure they stay within a certain range. And when these become unbalanced, you develop symptoms, so you see a doctor for treatment. But what happens when your thoughts and feelings become unbalanced? When you experience more negative thoughts than positive ones? What systems are in place to help realign your feelings and bring them back into harmony?

Holistic healing practices

When you visit a doctor for your physical ills, different treatments are prescribed depending on the symptoms. The same applies to when your thoughts and feelings are no longer in balance.

Combined Therapy Cocktail (CTC)

Using a combination of holistic modalities, including reiki, EFT, NLP and hypnosis, we tailor a treatment plan to help you heal and release what is holding you back.

Combined Therapy Cocktail (CTC) for Weight Loss

This is an intensive program that uses non-invasive techniques, to rewire your brain regarding your feelings about food and eating.

Healing & Mentoring

Using the ancient Japanese of reiki, or energy healing, we use the body’s energy fields to reduce stress, induce relaxation and promote healing.

Guided Meditation

Meditation is a spiritual practice designed to train the mind on one focus point. By doing this, it induces a deep state of both relaxation and awareness. It calms the mind and allows us to be more focused and balanced.

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)

Using the body’s meridian points, or energy channels, EFT has it’s healing foundations in Eastern medicine. Using similar philosophies to acupuncture, instead of using needles, you use your fingers to access and release the negative energy.
